How to program your USB credit card reader

Follow these steps to program your USB Credit Card Reader.

1) Click here to download the Magswipe Configuration Utility.
2) Choose open or run.
3) Click OK to the "Magswipe Configuration Utility" prompt.
4) Click Unzip. 14 files will have been unzipped.
5) Click Close.
6) Open My Computer, and open Local Disk (C:) --> Quikchek --> Support --> mcu
7) Double click on the MagSwipeCfgUtil.exe

8) Click on "Select Reader Interface."
9) Click on the blue bubble beneath the picture of the USB cable, and click Continue.
10) Click on "Change Basic Reader Settings."
11) Click on the Pre/Postamble tab.
12) Enter ~ in the Preamble and Postamble fields.
13) Click on the Track Settings tab.
14) Make sure that "Send Start/End Sentinel" is checked.
15) To the right of the "Track Seperator" field, Choose \nul from the Non-Printable Char
drop down menu. Do the same for the "Terminator" field.

16) Click "Send to MSR"
17) Click Close.
18) Click Exit.
