Corrupt table or index header
You may have lost data. You can try to fix the problem but make sure you check your member list, your POS invoices, member accounts, and transactions to verify if anything is missing when your finished.
Make note of the table mentioned in the error message.
Example: C:\Quichek\Data\Events.db
Please make a backup before you continue. Please be careful to follow these instructions perfectly.
1. Select Start, Programs, Quikchek, Datafixer
2. Click on 3 - DT Utility.
3. Set the Table name to the table that was noted in the error message (ex:Events.db)
4. Do Not place a check mark in Rebuild all tables.
5. Click Rebuild. A message will come up that says 'Rebuild was successful'
6. MAKE SURE YOU SEE BARS FILLED IN FOR INDEXES. If you do see bars for indexes, click Exit. If you do not see bars fill in for indexes, click Exit then click # 7 on the datafixer. Choose NO Tables. Place a check mark in the table you need to fix, click OK. You will see a Done message in the bottom left when it's done.
You should be fine. It is recommended that you browse over your data to make sure you haven't lost any critical information. Go to POS and make sure your invoices are there from today and yesterday. Go to your member tab and place a check mark in count, make sure all of your members are there. Go to Account Balances and verify the balance owed to the club is correct. If you notice that data, such as accounts, members or invoices are missing, you MUST restore a backup. All data between your last backup and today will be lost. You can however run reports for today to document the data you are about to lose.
