Index out of date
There are two types of index out of date errors. Read the error message you get closely and refer to either A) or B)
In either case, make sure everyone exits QuikCheK before running the utility.
A) Index is out of date table...
Example: Index is out of date table T:\Quikchek\Data\XXX.db
1. Make sure everyone is out of QuikCheK.
2. Go to Start, Programs, QuikCheK and click The Data Fixer.
3. Click on 3 - DT Utility.
4. For Tablename select the table that was shown in the error message (XXX is
where the table name would be noted in the example above)
5. DO NOT place a check mark in Rebuild all tables.
6. Click on the Rebuild button. You will see a message that says Rebuild
was successful in the bottom left when the utility is done. Exit the utility
and open QuikCheK.
B) Index is out of date by...
Example: Index is out of date byLastnameIDtransact
Just running a reindex will fix this
problem
1. Open QuikCheK, DO NOT LOGIN.
2. Click Reindex. Click OK.
3. When that is finished click Close, and all users can log into QuikCheK.
