Power Outages
An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is
HIGHLY recommended for ALL stations running
QuikCheK. This is so that if you experience
power loss while running QuikCheK, you will
have time to logout and shut down your systems,
avoiding potential data loss and / or corruption.
Internet
WE DO NOT Recommend having internet access
at your front desk computer. Why? Because
your front desk staff will be using the
internet all day long, surfing the net,
downloading software, playing games, sending
emails and contracting viruses. We have
seen at least 20 clubs lose all of their
data over the past 2 years, due to contracting
viruses off the internet.
