Change the description in setup by abbreviating it.
Stop selling this item the description is too long.

4. How do you change cashiers for each transaction?

Simply log out and log back in.
Go get the person thats logged in to do the transaction.
Click on toolbox and then on Change Cashier.
You cannot change cashiers, ever.

5. What is the QuikCash button for?

This is used when a customer has exact change.
Use this when you are in a hurry and there are alot of people in line.
Use QuikCash when a customer does not need a receipt.
This is used when a customer pays by check.

6. How do I delete an item from a transaction?

Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
Void the transaction and ring everything up again.
Finish the transaction, and then refund that item.
Click on an item, and then click the delete button.

7. How do I discount an item?

Collect less money and leave a note for the manager.
Don't ring up the discounted item.
Ring up the discounted item seperate.
Click the discount button and then confirm the discount is for all items or not.

8. How do I enter a split payment in POS?

Enter the amount being paid in cash and then the other form of payment.
You can't split up a payment.
Ring up the cash items and other payment in two transactions.
Ring it all in as one payment method and leave a note for the manager.

9. What is the Add Memo button for?

Leaving important memos for the manager.
Adding a note to your memory.
Adding a line of text to the bottom of the receipt and a memo in the POS history.
Adding a new member named Memo.

10. If I click "No Receipt" for a transaction, how do I print that receipt later?

Ring up the transaction again, and click Print Receipt.
Cut out a piece of paper approximately the size of a Receipt and draw one out. Make sure you put your name as the cashier.
Find the desired member and click on "Toolbox" and click on the "Reprint Receipt" button.
Find the desired member and click "Other" on the POS screen, and then click on "Refund/Find Receipt".
You can't reprint receipts, your screwed.

11. I rang up a transaction on the wrong person. How do I move it?

Post a note on the computer telling everyone what you did.
Find the correct member and ring everything up again.
Duplicate the transaction on the correct member and leave a note for the manager.
Refund the original transaction and then duplicate the transaction on the correct member.

12. My Receipt Printer is not printing, what could be wrong?

The printer is out of paper.
The printer is not plugged in.
The printer is turned off.
The printer is out of ink. The printer will not print on the white copy, but the carbon copy should be printing.
All of the above could be wrong.

13. How do I add a new item to POS?

Click on Toolbox, and click Add new item.
New items are added in setup under POS.
New items are not allowed.
New items appear magically as you put them out for sale.

14. Where does the vendor list come from in Inventory?

Vendor list is created when you purchase the items from the store.
Vendor list is created in setup under POS
Vendor list is typed in as you enter items in inventory
Vendor list is pre-set with software can't be changed.
I don't know. Do you?

15. If I stop selling an Item, or an item is out of stock, how do I delete the button from POS?

Go into setup and change description to SOLD OUT.
Go into setup and delete the item's description.
Go into setup and unclick active button for that item
Go into setup and delete the item.
